Aleksandra Plačkić
New expert hired through ANTARES
Aleksandra Plačkić was born in 1990 in Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia. She obtained a BSc and a MSc degree in Physics at the Faculty of Science, University of Novi Sad, in 2017 and 2018, respectively. During her studies, she participated in International Conference of Physics Students, Heidelberg University, Germany, 10 – 17th August, 2014. She gave two presentations at “Primatijada” student competition (2010, 2013) and several popular science lectures (as part of various student projects). In May 2019 she attended “Practical Chemical Crystallography” workshop, held by dr Chris Hawes of Keele University, U.K. Since October 2019, Aleksandra has been working at the BioSense Institute as a Junior Researcher. She is currently attending training at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy and she is a part of L-NESS: Nanoscale Device Group, Polo di Como, under the supervision of prof. dr Roman Sordan. Her main research interest is graphene-based sensors.
