Olivera Novović, MSc is the Research Assistant at the Centre for Information Technologies. Her research focuses on the development of efficient and scalable pipelines for Big Data processing and analytics. She works mainly with spatial data, telecom data and any other semi-structured data type. At the time, she is enrolled in the final year of the PhD studies at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, with the title of PhD thesis: “Big Data analysis applied in space-time human dynamics research”. She participated actively in the COST Action “High-Performance Modelling and Simulation for Big Data Applications”, cHiPSet, where she gained competitive skills in Big Data technologies through Short Term Scientific Missions. In BioSense Institute, she is actively involved in many Horizon 2020 projects including Antares, Dragon and cross institutional projects with partners such as UNDP and Telecom Serbia.
