Antares Annual Workshop 2020
ANTARES Annual Workshop took place from November 4th to November 5th, 2020. Due to COVID19 outbreak, respecting all health and safety measures, it was held online.
The workshop was dedicated to strengthening internal ties between the various Centers at the BioSense Institute, improving collaboration with partners, and enhancing scientific excellence.
The goal of the workshop was multifold:
1. To discuss further development and strategies when it comes to the implementation of the project, engaging Project Officer, Advisory Board members and partners in fruitful discussions
2. To exchange the expertise in different fields with our partners from WUR, strengthening Joint Strategic Research Agenda (JSRA)
3. To boost knowledge transfer between junior and senior researchers at the BioSense Institute
4. To enhance cross fertilization and knowledge exchange between different research centers within the Institute
The event gathered around 70 people. Even though the workshop was online, it was a very productive one, and contributed greatly to the further implementation of the project.
Besides presenting all achievements within each Work Package, the discussions and debates centered around sustainability of the Centre of excellence, research agenda, business strategy and the aim of creating long-term value for the Institute, all stakeholders, and the wider society.
