ANTARES at the largest cultural exhibition in the world- Expo Dubai 2020

Expo Dubai 2020 showcases some of the humanity’s most prominent innovations. With more than 190 participating countries and an estimated 25 million people expected to visit before it closes at the end of March 2022, it is a tremendous opportunity to enhance international cooperation, gain a competitive edge in the global marketplace and boost science -industry knowledge transfer.

BioSense team presented at the Dubai Expo on several occasions and participated in many B2B meetings. The results of Institute’s star project ANTARES that is evolving BioSense into a European Centre of Excellence werw showcased, as well as state-of-the-art solutions that are harnessing the full potential of the 4th industrial revolution. BioSense was also a part of the accompanying GITEX fair (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition), the biggest gathering of the tech community. Vladimir Crnojevic, director of the BioSense Institute participated at the GITEX panel “”Robotics, Drones and the Rise of the Machine Helper” and later at the Dubai Expo 2020 panel “Serbia Country Business Briefing”.

Vesna Bengin, the coordinator of the ANTARES project talked about the future of farms at the World Majlis forum at the Australian Pavilion of Dubai Expo 2020. The event brought together leaders and visionaries to explore how to find innovative solutions that will ensure the future availability of food. The whole conversation is available on the link.

The theme of the Expo 2020 "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future", focuses on the premise that bringing the world together can catalyze an exchange of new perspectives and inspire action to deliver real-life solutions to the real-world challenges.
