New expert hired through ANTARES

Sofija Merc obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. During her studies, she received an Erasmus+ exchange program scholarship which gave her an opportunity to study for one semester at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. In 2018 she finished a training course ‘Possibilities for Financing through the EU Funds’ that gave her first insights and interest into project management. 

In October 2020, Sofija joined the BioSense team where she works as a Project Management Assistant at the Center for Innovation and Business Development. Additionally, in June 2021 she joined the HR team in which, currently, she works on creating and implementing an HR strategy and the first Gender Equality Plan of BioSense Institute.
