Building – The Tender Opening
The tender opening for the construction of the new building was held on July 17, 2020. Evaluation of the tenders is currently ongoing.
The new BioSense building is specifically designed to host state-of-the-art research equipment of the new center of excellence. With specific anti-vibrational features necessary for nanoelectronics laboratories, it is the first building of this kind ever to be built in Serbia.
With a surface of around 6,650 square meters, the new building in the campus of the university of Novi Sad will contain laboratories and clean rooms (around 25% of the total surface), workspaces for employees (also about 25% of the total surface of the facilities), offices, workspaces for external users, as well as lecture halls.
