Bojana Ivošević

Bojana Ivošević is working on utilizing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) for efficient monitoring of croplands, freshwaters, and terrains. She hails from a background in biology and ecology. She initiated her PhD in Kyungpook National University, South Korea, where she gained 2 years of experience with UAVs. She continued to pursue her field of interest at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Her current research focus is to implement UAV technology in precision agriculture to calculate vegetation indices important for agricultural crop yield production, disease detection and crop management. She is also interested in enforcing UAVs for animal detection and counting, monitoring algae bloom, land cover classification, and seasonal effects on the ecosystems.
