Damir Krklješ

New expert hired through ANTARES

Damir Krklješ works as a Senior Researcher at the BioSense institute. He received PhD at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad, Serbia, in 2016. He worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, teaching electronics, sensors and actuators and mechatronics. During that time he participated many national and international projects, where his main research topics involved robotics (sensorized, two degree of freedom gripper. Sensorized robotic foot for ZMP measurement), force sensors (optical and force sensing resistors) and capacitive angular speed and position sensors, based on printed flexible substrates. Starting in 2013 he moved to the industry, where he worked for a few companies, mostly in a design service area for leading worldwide industrial partners. He was engaged both, as an engineer, and as a head of the department. During that period he was involved in a development of industrial products involving high-end LED lightning digitally controlled power converters, sophisticated devices for water pumps monitoring, power converters, etc. Damir Krklješ published over 30 journal and conference papers.
