New expert hired through ANTARES

Dr. Ivan Bobrinetskiy (M), Senior Researcher at BioSense Institute, received Doctor of Technical Science Degree from the National Research University of Electronic Technology, in January 2011. Afterwards, he was employed by the University as a Leader researcher and Professor teaching courses in quantum physics, probe microscopy, nano- and microelectronics and supervising BSc, MSs and PhD students. His main topic of scientific research was focused on development of carbon nanotube and graphene-based electronic devices for chemical and biological sensors as well as fundamental research in single-molecular electronics. From February 2015 until August 2016 he was the senior researcher in newly organized Laser Application Centre of AIMEN technological center in O Porrino, Spain, where he developed new maskless photochemical processing for graphene-based electronic devices. Dr. Bobrinetskiy has published over 100 journal and conference papers as well as chapters in two scientific books. He is co-author of 10 patents and patent applications and co- founder of two innovative companies. He is also an expert in several domestic science supporting foundations. He has ample experience in coordination of more than 20 of national projects. His research interests are primarily focused on: nano-bio-electronics, scanning probe microscopy, nanowires, nanotubes/graphene devices, nanosensing, nanomedicine, nanomaterials, conducting polymers, nanolithography (probe, ion beam), laser microprocessing.
