Jelena Ačanski

Jelena Ačanski has PhD in Biology and works at the BioSense Institute as a senior researcher. Her research interests include landmark and semi-landmark geometric morphometrics, fluctuating asymmetry analysis, environmental niche analysis and (applied) entomology. Dr Jelena Ačanski authored or co-authored more than 50 scientific publications and conference papers and participated in several national and international research projects. She is experienced filed researcher. Jelena is the author and coordinator on Balkan hoverflies database and advisory committee, member of IUCN Hoverfly Specialist Group and member of Entomological Society of Serbia. Additionally, Jelena is ME/CFS activist and advocate, and vector illustration designer.
