Jugoslav Pendić

Jugoslav Pendić is a researcher employed at BioSense Institute. He graduated archaeology at the Philosophical faculty in 2016; and has been previously intensively engaged with archaeological fieldwork in both research and salvage operations. In 2012 he became a member of the „Rise of metallurgy in Eurasia“ project, as a field manager, GIS and remote &non-invasive prospection specialist. In 2015 he started providing consultancy services for the large infrastructural projects, working for the ERM (Environmental Resources Management), in the field of heritage protection, in areas on Serbian territory where development works are anticipated. In the year 2018 he became member of the ERC funded project Birth: births, mothers and babies: prehistoric fertility in the Balkans between 10000-5000 BC. His interests and acquired skills during his carrier are concentrated in several major domains: remote and non/invasive prospection, 3D scanning and visualization in protection and promotion of cultural and natural heritage, GIS systems in archaeology, local and international law practices dedicated to archaeological cultural property. He is versed and using majority of currently market – represented GIS software, software’s for acquisition and analysis of 3D data and software dedicated to processing image data.
