Stefanija Stojković

Stefanija Stojković  obtained a BSc and a MSc degree in Geodesy and Geoinformatics at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade, in 2017 and 2019, respectively with a focus on the use of satellite imagery for the purposes of classification of biological habitats.  She held scholarships awarded by the Republic of Serbia Young Talents’ Fund ”Dositeja” for the academic years 2016/17 and 2018/19. Since January 2020, Stefanija has been working at the BioSense Institute in Novi Sad, as a Junior Researcher in the Centre for Information Technologies. She is currently a first-year PhD student of Geodesy and Geoinformatics at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade. Her main research interest is the development of geoinformatic and remote sensing in the field of agriculture. She is currently working on detection of irrigated fields using time series of multispectral images and vegetation indices.
