Željka Dukić holds a Master of Science degree in Biology from the University of Belgrade. Since 2015, she has led the Unit for International Programs and Projects at the Ministry of Science, where she is primarily responsible for coordinating multilateral and bilateral cooperation programs, as well as managing activities related to European integration under Chapter 25 – Research and Innovation.

Ms Dukić has served as a National Contact Point (NCP) since 2006 and currently represents Serbia as a national delegate to the Programme Committee and NCP for the Health, Food, and “Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation” areas within the Horizon Europe programme. She has actively participated in several EU-funded projects under FP6 and FP7, and is currently involved in the Horizon 2020 Teaming project ANTARES, where she leads tasks related to spreading excellence across the region.
