The BioSense Institute in the race for the global award

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations nominated the AgroSense platform for the WORLD SUMMIT ON THE INFORMATION SOCIETY PRIZES (WSIS) 2021, as one of the best e-agriculture applications.

AgroSense is an easy-to-use digital tool that enables farmers to monitor their crops and plan activities using mobile phones or computers based on the data collected from satellites, drones, different sensors, and meteorological stations. As more and more activities are being carried out remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the AgroSense platform has become especially important and is constantly being improved to meet the needs of users.

The Winners will be selected among the first five most voted projects and announced during the special WSIS Prizes 2021 Ceremony, which will be held during the final week of the WSIS Forum 2021!
